National Writers Park: A New Global Cultural Initiative Across Five Continents

WBO Advances Plans for Five International Cultural Centres, with Uzbekistan Selected as the First Host Country

The World Business Organization (WBO) is advancing an ambitious international cultural initiative through the development of the Global National Writers Park, a project designed to establish five major cultural centres in different geographical regions of the world. The initiative aims to create a sustainable international platform for writers, authors, intellectuals, researchers, literary figures, and cultural communities, strengthening cultural dialogue and international cooperation while generating new economic opportunities for host countries.
The project represents a long-term vision of connecting nations and societies through literature, intellectual exchange, cultural heritage, education, and creative collaboration.

Five Global Centres: Connecting Cultures and Civilizations
Under the proposed framework, five National Writers Park centres will be established in strategically selected countries across different regions of the world. Each centre will serve as a regional hub for literary activities, international cultural events, writers' gatherings, educational programmes, research initiatives, and cross-border intellectual cooperation.
Rather than functioning simply as recreational parks or literary monuments, these centres are envisioned as integrated cultural destinations, combining natural landscapes, distinctive architecture, writers' residences, exhibition spaces, libraries, educational facilities, and venues for international cultural programmes.
The five-centre structure will provide an international network through which writers, thinkers, researchers, and cultural institutions can collaborate, exchange knowledge, and develop lasting professional relationships.
The initiative also seeks to establish a new model of cultural diplomacy, allowing participating countries to strengthen their international cultural presence and promote their national literary heritage within a broader global framework.

Uzbekistan Selected as the First Host Country
Following the evaluation of potential locations and the strategic vision behind the initiative, Uzbekistan has been selected as the proposed host country for the first Global National Writers Park Centre.
The World Business Organization is currently pursuing consultations with relevant Uzbek government officials and authorities regarding the project's development, potential location, institutional arrangements, and implementation framework.
Uzbekistan's rich literary and historical heritage, its important position along the historic Silk Road, and its potential for regional and international cultural cooperation provide a meaningful foundation for the proposed initiative.
The country's existing investment in cultural infrastructure and international cultural programmes also demonstrates the potential for projects that connect heritage, education, tourism, and international cooperation.

A €15 Million Initial Investment Under Study
The proposed National Writers Park project in Uzbekistan is currently undergoing preliminary research, feasibility assessment, and investment evaluation.
The initial investment requirement under consideration is approximately €15 million, subject to the results of technical and economic studies, the final project design, investment arrangements, and the necessary institutional approvals.
The proposed investment is expected to support the development of the park's infrastructure, architectural facilities, cultural and educational spaces, landscaping, visitor amenities, and operational facilities.
The project is also being considered as a potential long-term cultural and tourism destination, with opportunities for private-sector participation and international investment cooperation.

Cultural and Economic Benefits for the Host Country
The establishment of the first Global National Writers Park in Uzbekistan could generate benefits extending well beyond the cultural sector.
From a cultural perspective, the project is expected to:

  • Promote Uzbekistan's literary heritage and international cultural identity.
  • Attract internationally recognized writers, intellectuals, researchers, and cultural figures.
  • Create opportunities for international literary festivals, conferences, exhibitions, and educational programmes.
  • Encourage dialogue among different cultures, languages, and civilizations.
  • Support young writers, emerging intellectuals, and future generations of creative professionals.
  • Strengthen cultural relations between Uzbekistan and participating countries.

From an economic perspective, the initiative has the potential to contribute to:

  • International cultural tourism and increased visitor activity.
  • Employment opportunities in construction, tourism, hospitality, education, and cultural services.
  • Development of local businesses and service providers.
  • Attraction of domestic and international private investment.
  • Expansion of hospitality, accommodation, transportation, and related infrastructure.
  • Creation of new opportunities for international commercial and institutional partnerships.

The integration of cultural activities with tourism and business development could help establish the project as a sustainable destination, generating economic activity while preserving and promoting cultural values.

A Global Cultural Network with Long-Term International Impact
The broader ambition of the Global National Writers Park extends beyond its first location in Uzbekistan.
Through the establishment of five centres in different parts of the world, WBO seeks to develop an interconnected international network capable of facilitating cultural exchange across geographical, linguistic, and national boundaries.
The network could provide a platform for international literary collaborations, joint research programmes, cultural publications, educational exchanges, international awards, and partnerships between universities, cultural institutions, and creative communities.
Over time, the five centres are envisioned as complementary components of a global cultural ecosystem, contributing to greater mutual understanding, the preservation of literary heritage, and the development of international intellectual cooperation.

WBO Invites Investment Proposals from Its Members
As the Uzbekistan project enters its preliminary investment assessment and development phase, the World Business Organization invites interested investors who are members of WBO to express their interest in participating in this international initiative.
WBO members interested in investment opportunities related to the National Writers Park in Uzbekistan are invited to submit their formal investment proposals, accompanied by their proposed investment conditions, financial participation framework, and relevant suggestions.

Proposals should be submitted directly to the organization's official Global Projects email address:
Global.Project@worldbusinessorganization.org
Submitted proposals will be considered as part of the organization's investment evaluation and project development process.
WBO welcomes constructive proposals from qualified investors interested in contributing to the development of an international cultural destination with long-term cultural, social, and economic potential.

Building a Legacy Beyond Borders
The Global National Writers Park represents an effort to transform a cultural vision into an international platform for cooperation, creativity, education, and sustainable development.
By connecting five geographical regions through a shared commitment to literature and intellectual exchange, the initiative seeks to demonstrate that culture can serve not only as a bridge between civilizations but also as a meaningful driver of economic development and international partnership.
With Uzbekistan identified as the first proposed host country and an initial investment framework of approximately €15 million under consideration, the project marks an important stage in WBO's broader vision of establishing a global network dedicated to writers, thinkers, and the international community of ideas.
The ultimate ambition is to create more than five cultural destinations: it is to build a lasting international legacy where literature connects nations, culture creates opportunities, and ideas transcend borders.
