Lieksa Named Global Governance Center of WBO’s Smart Cities Network

LIEKSA, Finland – The World Business Organization (WBO) has announced a major milestone in the expansion of its Global Secure Smart Trade Cities Network (GSTCN) with the official designation of the Finnish city of Lieksa as the network’s Global Governance Center, operating under the title of WBO City.
The appointment positions Lieksa at the strategic core of WBO’s long-term vision for building an interconnected global ecosystem of secure, sustainable, and intelligent commercial cities. Recognized as the "Golden Hub" of the GSTCN, the city will serve as the principal center for governance, institutional coordination, ethical leadership, and strategic policy development across the expanding international network.
According to WBO, the new Global Governance Center will play a central role in strengthening cooperation among member cities while promoting transparent governance, responsible economic development, and sustainable international partnerships.
