World Business Organization Issues New International Framework for the Establishment of Higher Business Schools
The World Business Organization (WBO) has officially announced the release of its International Directive for the Establishment and Accreditation of Higher World Business Schools (WBS), marking a significant milestone in the organization's mission to strengthen global business education and develop internationally competitive human capital.
The newly issued framework has been formally communicated to all WBO member countries, strategic partners, chambers of commerce, educational institutions, and relevant public and private organizations. Under this initiative, qualified universities, educational foundations, business associations, investment groups, and professional institutions are now invited to submit applications to establish WBO Higher Business Schools in their respective countries.
The WBO Higher Business Schools are designed to serve as internationally recognized centers of excellence for executive education, entrepreneurship, international trade, investment, economic diplomacy, digital transformation, artificial intelligence in business, strategic management, and sustainable economic development. Unlike traditional academic institutions, these schools combine practical business experience with international standards, enabling participants to acquire market-oriented competencies that directly address the evolving needs of the global economy.
The initiative forms part of WBO's broader strategy to create an interconnected international educational network that promotes innovation, cross-border business cooperation, professional certification, and leadership development. Each approved institution will operate under WBO's international academic and professional standards while benefiting from access to global educational resources, expert networks, international conferences, research collaborations, and specialized executive training programs.
According to the organization, the new accreditation framework introduces comprehensive quality assurance requirements covering governance, academic programs, faculty qualifications, digital learning capabilities, industry engagement, and international cooperation. This standardized approach aims to ensure that every licensed WBO Higher Business School delivers consistent educational quality while responding to the specific economic priorities and workforce needs of its host country.
Beyond education, the schools are expected to function as regional platforms for business networking, investment promotion, policy dialogue, SME development, and international commercial cooperation. The World Business Organization has confirmed that the application process is now officially open. Interested institutions and eligible organizations are encouraged to submit their proposals for evaluation in accordance with the newly published accreditation guidelines. Successful applicants will become part of WBO's expanding international network of Higher Business Schools, contributing to the development of globally connected, innovation-driven, and future-ready business communities.
